UsBoth Directors are Registered Nurses and work regularly "on the floor" in charge of a shift. Jane, the Registered Manager, has worked at Wellington House for 13 years. Sally the Home Manager, worked in Trauma - Orthopaedics at the Bradford Royal Infirmary until joining Jane at Wellington House in 2004. The Directors have a dedicated, hard working team behind them from administration, recreation, domestic, catering, handyman, nurses and care staff, to ensure a high quality and caring environment for Residents and their families. The Nursing Home has achieved an excellent 3 star rating from the Care Standards (please see our links page) and maintains "The Investors in People Award" we also gained the Quality Standards 3 criteria set by Social Services in the Bradford area and staff are fully trained in end of life and palliative care. |
